Insurance against unemployment
SMKJ’s Unemployment Fund for Professionals in Sales, Marketing and Purchasing is - as its name reveals - a service specialised in providing unemployment security services for all people working in sales, marketing or purchasing and solving any related problems. The allowance paid out by the fund to its members is roughly three times higher than the basic daily allowance paid out by KELA (the Social Insurance Institution of Finland).
Your own lawyers on hand
As a member of SMKJ free advice is available on all issues related to your work, contract of agency or representation agreement - immediately after you’ve become a member. This advice is provided by the legal protection service MOT. Lawyers specialized particularly in sales and marketing are at your service.
Traveller’s insurance and accident insurance
SMKJ has taken an off-working-time traveller’s insurance and personal accident insurance for all of its under 68-year old members. You can extend the basic security provided by SMKJ through membership benefit insurances.
High-quality training events
SMKJ organizes professional training events around the country. Most of these events are free of charge for members.
It is easy to register for training events using an electronic form found at the bottom of each training event description. Seats are limited and will be filled in order of registration.
Members can also apply for SMKJ’s training subsidy to fulfill their dreams!
